Do something out of the ordinary today for your spouse --- something that proves (to you and to them) that your love is based on your choice and nothing else. Wash her car. Clean the kitchen. Buy his favorite dessert. Fold the laundry. Demonstrate love to them for the sheer joy of being their partner in marriage.
God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ dies for us. – Romans 5:8
So I couldn't sleep last night (or I guess early in the morning) so I went ahead and read the dare for today. I decided to get up early and make him a big breakfast. Usually he just only makes himself some cereal or an egg. But I went all the way - omlette, bacon, toast, etc. He was pretty surprised I got up early to do it! And then just a little bit ago I made his favorite dessert, so I get to surprise him with that after dinner today, too. I'm actually surprised on how easy it's becoming to do nice things like this. I like doing it! I like seeing him happy, excited and surprised by that kind of gesture!
